This award honors a Professional Member who has performed services not only within the organization, but has also, as a member of the Profession, extended their expertise, knowledge and human worth to their community.
2009 ASID NATIONAL MEDALIST AWARD
This is the highest award bestowed upon a chapter member by the American Society of Interior Designers at the national level. It is conferred upon Professional Members who are nominated by their chapter and elected to Medalist status in accordance with guidelines adopted by the Board of Directors of the Society.
• Chapter Nominees must have been a Professional Member of the Society for at least ten years;
• Selection is based upon outstanding and significant service to the Chapter and the Profession;
• Conspicuous contributions to the Profession having potential local and/or regional and /or national significance;
• Contributions on the Chapter level of such importance that the candidate has significantly enhanced the Chapter and the Profession; and shown a significant participation in Chapter activities; and
• Outstanding contributions which have enriched the human experience in areas such as design, community affairs, innovation and environmental design.
