Jewels / Compositions – 1ST PLACE ADEX (NATIONAL) AWARD FOR PRODUCT DESIGN, 1ST PLACE ASID DESIGN EXCELLENCE AWARD
When asked by a local Drapery Hardware manufacturer to design a new drapery finial for their line of hardware, Debra decided instead to design a complete new concept in drapery hardware. This hardware is user-friendly and easy for anyone to design their own drapery finial, whether they would like large or small, contemporary or traditional. Compositions received and ADEX Platinum National Award in 2006 for Design Excellence in Product Design. The product also received an ASID Design Excellence 1st Place Award in 2006 as well as an WCMA 2008 Product Innovation Award for Best New Style Concept in Drapery Hardware.
